I found this tool helpful in thinking about "how much ball to hit" rather than a "contact point". It was pretty easy to use, but to really be accurate, it is helpful to have a person help you by moving the device once you are down on the shot. It seems well made and should last for as long as you need it to if you don't abuse it.

i love this thing. I was having trouble making a couple shots and a friend had one and used it to show me where i should be aiming. it helped me a lot. I bought one after he showed it to me. It has really helped my aiming and helped me make a lot of shots i had trouble with before. its a great help to beginning players and some older one that suddenly have trouble making a shot or two. it will get you back on track fast.

If you are wondering if this [BAT] is for real then I would suggest you buy it and use it. The cost is low and it is in fact the most real thing you will ever find to learn how to AIM. This is so real that if you try it for a good month your game will change. After using if for a year I don’t use any other method and now I play 1000 percent better. I bought the BAT mainly for my wife who was having problems lining up shots. She tried it and it seemed to help her see things more clearly. While there are an infinite number of cut angles, it does help a great deal to get it narrowed down, especially for a novice player. It helped me with a couple of shots I was having some trouble with (object ball on head spot with cue ball in center of the table.) Now I make it with confidence. When I bought it I wasn’t expecting it to be worth the money but it turned out to be a good purchase.

It is a lovely little tool made beautifully and is easy to understand. Using the BAT is improving my game and understanding of cut angles. I am VERY pleased with the BAT.
